FOUNDERS GRANTS
support projects unique and new to the field that will positively advance the field of theatre for young audiences nationally.
The Childrens Theatre Foundation of America challenges and supports theatre artists to achieve excellence in service to young people. A major priority of CTFA is supporting theater for youth which clearly recognizes diversity, equity, and inclusion that is important to the future of theatre for young audience.
Founders Grants are intended for established and IRS certified not-for-profit theatres with annual budgets over $1M. The Founders committee alternates yearly grants between Concept Development (multiple awards of up to $6,000) and Project Fulfillment (one award, up to $30,000).
