Named for former CTFA President Orlin Corey, this award recognizes organizations, artists, educators, administrators, activists and others whose visionary works for youth embodies the core values of the Childrens Theatre Foundation of America.
2026 MEDALLION AWARD NOMINATION PERIOD
February 4, 2026- March 4, 2026
The 2026 Medallion Award will be presented at the TYA/USA National Festival & Conference, May 27-29th, at the Alliance Theater in Atlanta.
 
Two honorees will be awarded:
  • $1000.00
  • a beautiful original work of art which contains the Medallion,
  • registration for the 2026 TYA/USA Conference & Festival.   
Nominees from the field of Theatre for Youth in the USA may include:
  • Theater Artists & Organizations
  • Theatre Management
  • Patrons & Business Leaders
  • Community Leaders & Activists
  • Others who are making significant strides in, for, and through Theatre for Youth.
You may submit more than one nomination.
No self-nominations, please.
The selection committee for the Corey Medallion Awards is comprised of Childrens Theatre Foundation trustees and prominent representatives from the Theatre for Youth community.
