2009-The American Alliance for Theater and Education (AATE) for 2010 Conference in San Francisco, CA.
Sojourn Theatre Devising Project - Sojourn Theatre, under the artistic direction of Michael Rohd, worked with AATE conference attendees to devise site specific performances at four locations around the conference venue culminating in a final keynote presentation the last day as a closing event.

Dramatic Change: An Anti-Bullying Initiative - helped fund the honorarium for the keynote speaker and supported the AATE 2012 pre-conference workshop sessions. In a first-ever joint collaboration, AATE and TYA/USA have come together to create Dramatic Change: An Anti-Bullying Initiative.

Dr. Mary Helen Immordino-Yang, an affective and cognitive neuroscientist, conducts research at the Brain and Creativity Institute at the University of Southern California. Her studies use fMRI brain scan technology to study the impact of emotion, social interaction and culture on human development and education. Immordino-Yang boldly concludes that education must pick up the slack in children’s development by infusing arts learning methods into mainstream education. Sponsored by CTFA and the Alvin A. Sonia Manzano. For over 30 years, Sonia Manzano inspired, educated, and delighted children and families as “Maria” on Sesame Street. Named among the “25 Greatest Latino Role Models Ever” by Latina Magazine. Whether speaking out for literacy, diversity, or addressing the issues children face in our media-saturated life, she is a familiar, engaging voice that brings new light to her roles and to our lives. Sarah Bellamy. This year the Cohen money is being used to provide a keynote speaker, Sarah Bellamy, Artistic Director of Penumbra Theatre, at the AATE Conference in Minneapolis. This keynote, followed by the presentation of the Medallion Awards, will be part of the Medallion Event. Supported, in part, by CTFA and the Alvin A. Cohen Fund.

2020-TYA/USA 2020 Virtual Conference Presentation Events - Online.
TYA/USA Virtual Conference: Presentation & Intent To Return Survey. $5000 was used to help support the keynote of Wolf/Brown held at the TYA virtual conference May 14-16, 2020 and help underwrite an audience survey project, “intent to return”, monitoring the willingness for future audiences to gather following the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic closures of theatres, schools and public places.
